I'm Sara and I'm just a girl who loves crafty goodness.
I've always loved designing and creating things. I took part of that love (and my sometimes far too logical of thinking) and studied interior design. After graduation jobs in design were sparse, but life doesn't always go how you plan.
The best part about interior design is solving a problem while using creativity. I still find that joy in
the projects I dream up and bringing those ideas to life! I've dabbled here and there in crafting but always come
back around to fabric and sewing. You just can't deny
how wonderful the color, patterns, and feel of fabric can
be and its endless possibilities.
Taking something so beautiful to start (my fabric
addiction is showing through) and turning it into a
unique, functional object can be a challenge, but it's one
I truly enjoy. To me, it's easy to make something pretty,
but another to make something useful. That's how I
feel about design on all levels. One of my favorite quotes...
"Design is art people use."
